Anadia, Novo Lino e Maribondo são algumas das cidades que já sediaram o programa desde o último mês de julho
O Programa Saúde do Homem Rural e da Mulher Rural, realizado pelo Senar em parceria com as prefeituras, chegou a alguns municípios alagoanos pela primeira vez neste segundo semestre. Anadia, Novo Lino e Maribondo são algumas das cidades que já sediaram o programa desde o último mês de julho.
Para esse semestre ainda estão previstos os municípios de Delmiro Gouveia e Dois Riachos, além da comunidade Pindorama, em Coruripe, no litoral sul do estado.
A adesão de novos municípios se deve à articulação da Federação da Agricultura e Pecuária de Alagoas (Faeal), que tem recebido recorrentes pedidos de prefeitos e secretários para que o programa seja levado para as suas regiões juntamente com as demais ações do Senar, como os cursos de Formação Profissional Rural (FPR), Promoção Social (PS) e a Assistência Técnica e Gerencial (ATeG).
Só no primeiro semestre deste ano, o Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher Rural atendeu 741 pessoas nos seis municípios alagoanos que sediaram a ação. Foram realizadas 251 citologias e 490 exames de PSA, preventivos para câncer de colo de útero e de próstata, respectivamente.
Público feminino
No caso das mulheres, o programa tem por objetivo contribuir para a mudança e melhoria das condições de vida e saúde integral das mulheres do meio rural, com ações de educação em saúde e ampliação do acesso aos serviços disponíveis no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), em parceria com Secretarias de Saúde e prefeituras.
As ações têm como foco prioritário a educação em saúde, com prevenção, diagnóstico precoce, vacinação, questões de gênero, violência doméstica, prevenção do câncer do colo do útero, da mama, das doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, entre outros.
Já para os homens as ações têm como foco prioritário a educação em saúde, prevenção do câncer de próstata, câncer de pênis, doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, sempre com o intuito de promover o controle de fatores de riscos que afetam diretamente a saúde do homem rural.
