A primeira semana de diálogo do setor produtivo com os candidatos ao governo de Alagoas serviu para apresentação das principais propostas do agronegócio no estado para as campanhas de Paulo Dantas (MDB) e Fernando Collor (PTB). Os dois abriram a série de encontros que vêm sendo realizados na Casa da Indústria, no Farol, e que continua na próxima segunda (12) e terça (13) com os candidatos Rodrigo Cunha (UB) e Rui Palmeira (PSD), respectivamente.
As demandas na área do agronegócio foram defendidas pelo presidente da Federação da Agricultura e Pecuária de Alagoas (Faeal), Álvaro Almeida, e reunidas no documento Agenda do Setor Produtivo para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável de Alagoas.
Entre as proposições para os candidatos está o aumento da dotação orçamentária da Agência de Defesa e Inspeção Agropecuária de Alagoas (ADEAL), aperfeiçoamento do sistema de emissão eletrônica de GTA e estabelecer um zoneamento regional para os matadouros públicos.
O fortalecimento da política de assistência técnica e extensão rural (ATER) por meio da reestruturação da EMATER/AL, a implantação na Secretaria de Agricultura de um banco de dados da agropecuária alagoana e o fornecimento de assistência técnica aos pequenos produtores rurais, por meio de contrato de prestação de serviço com o Senar Alagoas, também compõem a lista de reivindicações. No caso do Senar, a proposta apresentada se espelha em outros estados, como o Maranhão.
A segurança do homem do campo e a preservação do Direito de Propriedade também foram bandeiras defendidas pelo presidente da Faeal durante o encontro com os candidatos ao governo. Para Álvaro Almeida, divergências políticas existem, mas devem ocorrer dentro dos limites da legalidade.
Tanto Paulo Dantas como Fernando Collor se comprometeram a atender as reivindicações dos setores produtivos em geral. Além da Faeal e da Federação das Indústrias de Alagoas (Fiea), também promovem o evento a Federação das Associações Comerciais de Alagoas (Federalagoas) e o Sebrae no estado.
