As atividades para este ano do Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher serão iniciadas na próxima semana, começando pelo município de Cacimbinhas, no alto sertão de Alagoas, quando trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais poderão fazer exames e receber atendimento médico.
E para falar sobre como funciona o projeto e quais ações previstas para este ano, o Senar Alagoas realiza uma Live nesta terça-feira (15), às 10h, com a coordenadora do programa, Andrea Almeida, e a analista de arrecadação Carla Christine Lima. A transmissão será pelo perfil do Sistema Faeal / Senar Alagoas no Instagram (@sistemafaeal).
O Programa é realizado por meio de parceria com as prefeituras e secretarias municipais. Durante a ação, são apresentadas palestras educativas e feitos exames de citologia para as mulheres e PSA e toque retal para os homens, com foco na prevenção ao câncer de próstata.
No caso dos homens, o público alvo são os produtores e trabalhadores rurais com idade de 45 a 80 anos que nunca tenham feito ou estejam com o exame PSA atrasado há pelo menos dois anos. As palestras têm como temas a higiene pessoal, planejamento familiar, doenças sexualmente transmissíveis (DSTs), câncer de próstata, câncer de pênis e disfunção erétil.
Já entre as mulheres o foco é a prevenção ao câncer do colo de útero. Os exames médicos são realizados pelo Senar Alagoas em parceria com instituições e secretarias de Saúde e Educação dos próprios municípios.
Por meio das ações do programa nos municípios, já foram realizadas mais de 7 mil citologias e mais de 10 mil exames de PSA e toque retal. Devido à pandemia de Covid-19, o formato do Programa mudou, o que vai ser explicado durante a Live.
